ゲノム編集は近年注目されている、標的ゲノムの配列を思い通りに改変する技術です。この技術によって遺伝子改変動物の作製が格段に速く、容易になりました。本研究室ではゲノム編集技術を用いて様々な遺伝子改変マウスを作製し、エピジェネティック研究や幹細胞研究に利用しています。

Genome editing is a spotlight technology that modifies the sequence of the target genome as desired. This technology has made the production of genetically engineered animals much faster and easier. In our laboratory, using genome editing technology, various genetic engineered mice have been produced and are used to study epigenetic regulation as well as stem cell regulation.
